Been swimming in financial records for the last four years for Kicksaints Studio. Lots to sort out and accounts to finalize so we can work on some new marketing ideas and continue upskilling. All a means to an end, in this case a means to work on the creative briefs we want to work on.

After the above mentioned, I'm officially on a hiatus from work for 12 - 18 months. I'm taking a creative sabbatical, going to focus on upskilling and creative development. Brad will be doing the same, we'll probably also come up with ideas for our marketing campaign but this will be near the end of the sabbatical.

While everyone embraces the rat race, we'll be embracing the go-kart race!

Its financially viable and definitely worth it since we both burned out a bit last year.

Stefan Sagmeister does something similar, usually his outcomes after his sabbatical are really rewarding.

If you don't know who Stefan Sagmeister is, just google him. He is a fantastic designer that runs a studio in New York. He has an awesome outlook on life and worth googling
